“…costano 100 yen l’uno”
(…cost 100 yen each)

In Italian, l’uno/l’una is commonly used to express the price per unit of an item, and it can be translated in English as “each”. It’s always singular but agrees with the gender of the noun.

  • Quei souvenir vengono 2 euro l’uno (Those souvenirs cost 2 euros each)
  • Le torte costano 15 euro l’una (The cakes cost 15 euros each)

Translation

After cat cafés and cafés for procrastinators, another unusual offering comes from Japan: the slap restaurant.

It’s called ‘Shachihoko-ya’ and is located in Nagoya. In this establishment, you can order a very particular extra service: slaps from the waitress.

It’s not a joke; it’s all true. The slaps cost 100 yen each (approximately 65 euro cents).

And as seen in online videos, the waitresses deliver really strong slaps, the kind that in Rome are called “pizze in faccia” (face slaps).

What do you think? Would any of you be interested in trying them?
