José Mourinho is AS Roma’s new manager

= “I’M LOOKING FOR for the metro station”

= I’M TRYING TO do my best

– “CERCA DI essere puntuale domani!”
= TRY TO be punctual tomorrow!

Translation

With an absolutely unexpected twist, Roma announced that starting from next season the new coach will be Portuguese José Mourinho, replacing the current coach Paulo Fonseca, who is also Portuguese.

The announcement by the club sparked enthusiasm among Roma fans but also interest from casual fans, as Mourinho is one of the most successful coaches in the history of football: in 19 years of career he has won 25 trophies, including 2 Champions League, 2 Europa League and several championships around Europe.

The “Special One”, as Mourinho is nicknamed, however, comes from two disappointing seasons at Tottenham in England, an experience that ended with his dismissal a few weeks ago, and will therefore try to relaunch himself at the helm of the Giallorossi.

To greet his new fans, Mourinho used the Roman expression “daje” on social media, sending foreign commentators into a frenzy and Roma fans into raptures.
