France reclaims world record for longest baguette

Translation

In 2019, a group of Italian bakers broke the record for the longest baguette with a 132-meter-long baguette.

This didn’t sit well with their French rivals, who, 5 years later, reclaimed the record: A team of 18 French bakers achieved the new record in Suresnes, on the outskirts of Paris, with a baguette measuring 140.53 meters.

It took about 13 hours to bake the record-breaking baguette and secure the new Guinness World Record.

To celebrate the success, the baguette was shared with the audience at the event and with those in need in the area.
