Some time ago, we talked about the spectacular flowering in Castelluccio di Norcia, in Umbria.

A magical place for many tourists, who from May to July visit the fields around the village colored with flowers of different colors.

However, there is another incredible place to admire there all year round: a forest in the shape of Italy.

It is not a “natural” forest: the trees were planted in 1961 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Unification of Italy (1861).

Those trees are still there today, making a visit to Castelluccio even more unforgettable.
