We are talking about the “Sentiero Italia”, a hiking trail that was established in 1984, thanks to the idea of some hikers. However, after its inauguration, the trail was abandoned for many years.

Until now. Thanks to the work of hundreds of volunteers from the CAI (Italian Alpine Club), the trail has been saved and has finally come back to life.

According to many international newspapers, it is considered the “longest trekking trail in the world”. And probably, also the most beautiful, thanks to the richness and variety of landscapes that only Italy can offer.
