Venezia diventa verde!

Venice turns green!

Translation

On Sunday morning, the water in some canals in Venice turned fluorescent green.

The photos quickly went viral online, but the reason is still unknown.

According to some, this event is reminiscent of an art installation by artist Nicolas Garcia Uriburu during the Venice Biennale in 1968: Uriburu colored the water of the Grand Canal green as a message about the importance of the environment.

Once again, some speculate that it could be a protest by an environmental group. However, for now, we still don’t know the truth.
